Respect for the CAMP and each other is essential.
S-R aims to be a safer space without racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, aggressive behavior and unwanted touching. We're counting on everyone to bring a positive, communal attitude of respect and care as we create this space together.
Zero tolerance for violence, theft, or vandalism.
No smoking inside the venues, cabins, by the pool, or anywhere other than the designated smoking areas.
Leave no trace! Keep the campus clean and don’t litter cigarette butts, cans/cups, etc. Place our reusable cups in their bins or bring to the bar. Don't bring glitter, confetti, etc.
No grilling, fires, candles or fireworks. But there will be campfires at The Grove.
No BYOB alcohol, but food is ok.
No RVs, glamping, pets or speakers.
We can swim in the lake only on Friday with lifeguards present. No swimming in the lake at other times.
Be quiet in the campsite and cabins when people are sleeping between 4AM-1PM. Feel free to use the Bossa Lounge to hang out at any time.
Hard drugs and GHB are banned - we are far away from a hospital and it’s too dangerous. Due to the risk involved, memberships will be revoked for anyone carrying or using, and you will have to leave.
Look after yourself and each other. Be mindful of your sleep, sustenance and consumption levels. If someone around you looks unwell, is acting recklessly or harassing others - please report it to the awareness team, security, EMTs.
AWARENESS
The Awareness Team will be present to support your safety and well-being during all hours of music. Trained monitors will be roaming the dance floors wearing glowing bracelets and can help if anything makes you feel unsafe or overwhelmed. They carry Narcan, fentanyl test strips, earplugs, gum, glucose packets, and electrolyte tablets.
The Awareness Desk is inside the Café during all music hours. Here staff can quickly connect you with an on-duty Awareness Team monitor and are also available to help with general festival questions. Lost & Found is also there.
If you need medical attention, go directly to the EMT in the Infirmary building—unless you’d like the Awareness Team to help you get there.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Sleeping bag/bedding and pillow for your bunk bed (twin mattress) or tent.
If you're camping:
• A waterproof tent and tarp. *pro-tip: tuck in your tarp under the tent so water doesn’t pool into it if it rains*
• Air or foam mattress to sleep with a barrier between you and the cold and damp ground.
Warm clothes, extra socks, waterproof shoes & rain gear. It gets very cold at night and the grass is wet every morning. Be prepared for all weather conditions including rain.
Bathing suit and towel for the pool & lake party.
Flashlight or Headlamp. You’ll walk through the woods a lot.
Earplugs and eye mask for sleeping. Recommend wax earplugs for sleeping.
All attendees must be 21+. You will need An ID for check-in that matches your ticket. If your ID has your dead name, also bring proof of your email address matching the ticket.
Bug spray / sunscreen. Check for ticks because there is Lyme disease in the area.
Don't bring laptops or valuables. The cabins have no locks.
Cash if you prefer to use it. There is no ATM on site, but the restaurant and bars take credit cards too.
Water bottle for free water at the campground, stages, and kitchen.
TO REDUCE WASTE, WE WILL USE REUSABLE CUPS.
Each mixed drink or cocktail will come with a $2 reusable plastic cup. Please reuse the cup, return to the bar for a deposit refund, or use the designated bins. Do not throw away in the trash!
WHERE'S MY BUNK?
Assignments are printed on the bottom right hand side of your e-ticket PDF/ Here is the campus map including all bunks.
CAN I REFUND OR TRANSFER MY TICKET?
Yes, by purchasing a Ticket Refund or Ticket Transfer on the Shopify Store. If you don’t have a login you can use: contact@sustain-release.com / pw: guestlogin2021. Ticket refunds & transfers close at 10pm on Wednesday Sept 10.
Help us maintain a safer space - don't sell your tickets to anyone you don't know or trust. Memberships will be revoked for selling to strangers, scalping (selling at a higher price) or if your guests cause problems at the event (like breaking the rules listed above).
CHECK-IN + PARKING
If you are taking the shuttle bus from NYC, check-in takes place there at Nowadays.
If you are driving you will need to buy a Parking Pass.
Check-in is Thurs and Friday 3PM-3AM and Saturday 12PM-9PM. On Thurs, it will begin at Lot 1 100-266 S Maplewood Rd and move to Lot 2 553 S. Maplewood Rd after the first parking lot fills up on. MAP OF BOTH.
Parking Shuttles run on loop: Thurs & Friday 3PM-3AM (continuously), Saturday 12PM-9PM (every half-hour), Sunday 11AM-4PM (continuously). Lot 1 is within walking distance, Lot 2 is too far too walk and you will have to take the shuttle bus.
If you are checking in on Saturday - wait at Lot 2 for the shuttle driver who will come every half hour and check you in.
There is no after hours check-in or parking lot access!! Plan accordingly.
Never drive directly to campus even to drop off or pick up bags. It causes traffic jams and blocks the buses and you will be stopped by security. Highway police regularly pull people over and do car searches - please be safe and don't mention S-R.
What if it rains?
Unfortunately it has many times, so come prepared! The Gym is inside, but The Grove is outdoors. Bring waterproof shoes, ponchos/raincoats, and extra socks.
LOST & FOUND
Is now located in The Cafe in a plastic bin. If you find something, please bring it here ASAP. The lost and found is not monitored, and after camp ends, we only take back IDs, wallets, and other valuables. The camp throws away most items, so if you lost something, it would be best to look for it yourself before you leave. Email contact@sustain-release.com to check if we recovered your items.
If you left something on the bus, contact the bus company directly = Leprechaun Lines, mhoraz@leprechaunlines.com. ( 845-565-7900).
CAN I WRITE A FEATURE / PUBLISH PHOTOS?
Email us to ask first. S-R prefers to go under-the-radar with minimal press. We ask for any features, photo galleries, or reviews to be approved by us in advance.
